Capt Tim: MM Charter

Capt Tim was incredible and extremely knowledgeable. It was our first charter and we caught lots of different fish. Capt Tim taught us how to place our lines and catch fish. Moving to multiple locations to increase our success. Our teenage son had an amazing time. Looking forward to going out again.

Meant to be...

My husband and I traveled to FL with our 21 yr old son, his girlfriend and grandparents to go deep sea fishing after our son spent 60 days in the ICU during last Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years 2024. It was a celebration trip following a hardship like no other that we all got through. All our big kiddo wanted to do, was get out of the hospital and go fishing! Captain Tim made that happen! We caught 3 sharks and a ton of fish. It was a great day and Tim made it his mission to make sure our son was able to fulfill the experience he dreamed of having. Thank you Captain Tim, you were the best. Lilly the pup too!

Family Fishing Trip

Captain Tim Hermus with MM Charters is amazing. My family and I went out for a four hour, half day, morning trip. Captain Tim is very knowledgeable. He took us to several fishing locations throughout our trip. We caught serval varieties of fish that included a few sharks and a sting ray! In the way back in Captain Tim made sure we were able to see some dolphins in the bay. We may be biased but Co-Captain Lillie (Tim’s dog) was an added bonus!

I would highly recommend this trip. Tim was very knowledgeable about the area and where the fish were gathering. We had never gone out for tarpon however captain Tim put us at ease and expelled any apprehension we may have had especially for my wife who is not that accustomed to being on the water Thanks Tim! Awesome Adventure!

Our first time in Englewood! Great communication with the Captain the entire time. We were contacted prior to the trip by the Captain explaining the weather conditions. The waves were high in the Gulf during our trip, so we stayed safe in the Bay and fished. We caught a Hammerhead Shark (What an exciting catch!), catfish, and Sheep Head fish. The Captain cleaned our fish and we took it home for a fish fry the same night! The Captain took photos to capture memories for our family. 2 adults and 2 children. The boat was big enough to allow all of us to fish at the same time. The children loved the time spent on the beach and chose shells to bring home. The weather was very nice in the bay. Waves were good and we were able to swim at the beach. We would definitely recommend this Charter!

Fun day!

Had a great day catching fish with Captain Tim and his dog Lillie! We caught lots of fish and also got to see a turtle and dolphins! Overall great day, definitely recommend!

This dynamic duo was the icing to the cake for our trip to Manasota! Not only was he extremely knowledgeable about the area and put us on the fish, but Lilly the dog was an epic treat as well. Can't wait to come back here and go out with Captain Tim again!

Captain Tim is great

Tim worked hard to put us on fish. The Red tide didn’t help much, but he kept moving around to get us chances. We caught enough for a couple meals, made it lots of fun.
